When you use NOCK to collect feedback from your users, you are trusting us to handle that data responsibly. This page explains the basics of how NOCK treats the data it collects — what we do with it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and how you can remove it. We are committed to handling your data responsibly and giving you clear, honest answers to these questions.

How NOCK uses collected data

Data captured in a NOCK ticket is used for one purpose: to populate your project inbox so you and your team can review and act on user feedback. NOCK does not sell ticket data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties outside of the specific integrations you choose to connect.

Third-party integrations

The only third party that receives ticket data is a service you explicitly connect to your NOCK account. Currently, this applies to Linear:
  • When you connect a Linear workspace to your NOCK project, ticket data (including title, description, category, technical context, and any attachments you choose to forward) is sent to the Linear workspace you control.
  • You initiate this connection and can disconnect it at any time from Project Settings → Integrations.
  • Data sent to Linear is governed by Linear’s own privacy policy once it leaves NOCK.
If you have not connected any integrations, ticket data stays within your NOCK account and is not transmitted to any external service.

Data retention

Data is retained for as long as your NOCK account is active. Individual tickets remain in your project inbox until you or a team member deletes them. There is no automatic expiry for tickets — you are in control of what stays and what is removed.
If you want to keep your inbox tidy and minimize the amount of stored feedback data, you can archive or delete resolved tickets directly from the dashboard at any time.

How to delete your data

You have two levels of deletion available:
You can delete any ticket from your project inbox by opening the ticket and selecting Delete from the action menu. Deleted tickets are permanently removed and cannot be recovered. This is useful for removing submissions that contain sensitive or irrelevant information.
Deleting your NOCK account permanently removes all associated data — including all projects, tickets, widget configurations, and team member access. To request account deletion, go to Settings → Account or contact support. Account deletion is irreversible; make sure you have exported or saved anything you need before proceeding.
