Every NOCK project can have its own Customer Portal — a dedicated URL that lets external visitors submit feedback and track ticket status without a NOCK account. You activate and manage the portal from your project settings, and you can disable it at any time if you no longer want outside access.
Enable the Customer Portal
Open your project settings
Navigate to the project you want to share, then click Settings in the left sidebar.
Go to Customer Portal
Select the Customer Portal tab within Settings. You will see the portal toggle and your unique portal URL.
Activate the portal
Toggle Enable Customer Portal to the on position. NOCK immediately generates a unique shareable URL for this project.
Copy the share link
Click Copy Link next to the generated URL. The link is now on your clipboard, ready to share.
Each project gets its own unique URL. Enabling the portal for one project has no effect on other projects in your workspace.
Share the link with stakeholders
Once you have copied the link, you can distribute it through any channel that suits your workflow — email, Slack, a client report, or a project brief. Anyone who has the link can open the portal immediately; they do not need a NOCK account or an invitation.
Include the portal link in your project kick-off documentation or onboarding email so stakeholders always know where to report feedback.
Disable the Customer Portal
If a project closes, a client engagement ends, or you simply want to stop accepting external feedback, you can disable the portal at any time.
Return to Settings → Customer Portal
Open the same Customer Portal tab in your project settings.
Turn off the toggle
Toggle Enable Customer Portal to the off position.
Confirm
The portal is now inactive. Anyone who tries to open the old link will see an inaccessible page.
Disabling the portal makes the link inaccessible immediately. Existing visitors who have bookmarked the URL will no longer be able to view tickets or submit feedback. If you re-enable the portal later, the same unique URL is restored.
