The Linear integration lets your team manage feedback and bug reports without leaving the tools they already use. When a ticket arrives in NOCK — whether submitted through a widget or forwarded manually — NOCK can automatically open a corresponding issue in your chosen Linear team and project. As your engineers work through those issues in Linear, status updates flow back into NOCK so stakeholders always see an accurate, up-to-date picture without having to dig through your project board.

How the workflow fits together

Once you connect NOCK to your Linear workspace, the integration handles three distinct moments in the lifecycle of a piece of feedback:
  1. Ticket created in NOCK — A visitor submits feedback or a team member logs a report. NOCK immediately creates a linked issue in Linear inside the team and project you configured.
  2. Engineers work in Linear — Your team triages, assigns, and resolves the issue entirely within Linear. No context-switching required.
  3. Status syncs back to NOCK — When the Linear issue moves through statuses (for example, from In Progress to Done), NOCK updates the corresponding ticket status automatically. Customers checking the Customer Portal see a clean, real-time status without ever seeing your internal tooling.

Is this integration required?

No. The Linear integration is entirely optional. If your team does not use Linear, you can skip this section completely — NOCK works as a standalone feedback hub without any project-management connection.

What you can do with the integration

  • Automatically create Linear issues from every new NOCK ticket
  • Route issues to a specific Linear team and project
  • Attach default labels to every created issue
  • Import existing Linear issues into NOCK as tickets
  • Keep ticket statuses in NOCK in sync with Linear issue states
